In the following content, the words Crating Express, Cratingexpress, Cratingexpress.com, CE, we, us, etc., refer to Crating Express, which is a customized carpentry and packaging service for exporters, wholesalers, warehouses, etc. that adjusts to the measurements and needs of each particular client.
Crating Express is operated by Satara Inc., a company registered in the state of Florida, USA.
We make packaging with wood, cardboard, special papers (non-stick), foam, polystyrene, bubbles and elastic plastics, carpentry with wood, platforms in containers according to the client's measurements and specifications, and we solve problems related to packaging for all types of transport, handling and storage of goods.
Crating Express offers a packing service to low priceswe understand that we are part of a supply chain where cost plays a very important role, so it is our commitment to maintain low prices, a service punctual and of great quality.
The client can request a quote in the following ways:
- By email to cratingexpress02@gmail.com.
- Through our website.
- By phone for delivery coordination, but order details MUST be on a mailed quote and accepted in the same manner.
Validity of quotes
Quotes are valid only up to 3 days after delivery to the customer.
A quote can be valid beyond 3 days, only if the customer pays for it within the described time frame, even if delivery is required for a later date.
A quote is only valid for the details described in it.
Quotations with reference to prices per cubic capacity for subsequent orders are only valid as a general reference.
Service guarantee
CE services are GUARANTEED. The warranty is effective under the following conditions:
- All requested work is treated with the highest priority and carried out with the best possible quality/price ratio.
- Timely delivery is our best service guarantee.
- All services must be ordered and confirmed by email.
What CE guarantees
- That the work is carried out according to the measures provided or according to the measures taken by CE.
- That the wood used is treated in accordance with the specifications of the ISPM 15 standard.
- That the work is carried out in the time and form according to the description in the accepted quote.
- Proof of receipt of the work in the agreed conditions is the signature of the client or an employee of the client on the work acceptance document.
Although CE makes every effort to deliver an order in the best possible condition regarding the quality of materials used and the quality of work performed (the boxes, for example, are produced to withstand regular handling conditions), CE cannot guarantee that the work will arrive in good condition at its destination, as this depends on the handling conditions after delivery of the service. Therefore, we do not make any charges for INSURANCE or warranty related to the condition that the packaged shipment may have upon arrival at its destination.
We use certified wood for international shipping packaging (ISPM 15 Standard)
CE uses treated/fumigated wood according to the specifications of the ISPM 15 standard, established for wood packaging in international trade.
CE certifies (in writing, at the client's request) and prints a Treated Wood Certification Seal on all services we produce using wood.
service orders
Payment for our services is in advance, cash on delivery (COD), or some accounts allow payment 15 days after order delivery. This is the reason why our prices are low.
If for any reason it is not possible to collect COD payment upon delivery, the customer MUST send payment by regular mail or pay digitally as soon as possible or within the agreed upon time frame, and no later than 15 days from delivery of the service.
In the event that the client does not pay on time, after 15 days of non-payment, the client agrees to pay a 30% surcharge on the invoice value. If we have to resort to court to collect the debt, the client agrees to pay a 100% surcharge on the invoice value, in addition to ALL collection costs that may apply.
Cancelling an order
An order can be cancelled:
- If the order has been given in writing.
- If the cancellation is ordered in writing within 10 minutes of having been made.
- When the customer pays for the order.
Additional charges for
- Fake calls: The customer orders a quote by mail or calls us to request a box, gives us the measurements, we make the box, but upon arrival at the delivery address, the customer notifies us that they no longer want it. However, under these terms of service, the customer agrees to pay for the box they ordered, even if they no longer want it. We will leave the box at their door or in their trash can, or if we have to store the box, the customer, under these terms, agrees to pay the following charges:
- The quoted value of the box.
- The cost of delivery and return of the box to our workshop.
- Box storage at a rate of $10 per day.
- Storage will only be for 15 calendar days; after those 15 days, the client authorizes Crating Express to dispose of the box(es) in the manner it deems appropriate.
- Delays: CE operators and agents arrive at the customer's address at the scheduled time, but if the customer is not ready for us to perform the work, we can wait up to 20 minutes at no charge. After that time, there is a charge of $45 for each hour or fraction of wait requested by the customer.
- Sales tax: All sales are subject to the Florida State Sales Tax of 7%. However, we can waive such tax if the customer provides us with a Resale Certificate, also called a Tax Exemption Certificate. If you do not have this certificate, obtaining one is easy and can be done online at Floridarevenue.
- Incorrect measurements provided by the customer:
- If the measurements are incorrect by 1 or 2 inches and can be corrected on the spot without having to return to the shop, the minimum charge is $30 or $20 per side (if the deficiency is on more than one side).
- If the measurements are incorrect by more than 1 inch but not more than 3, and can be corrected without returning to the shop, the minimum charge is $50 or $30 per side.
- If the incorrect measurements are more than 3 inches on ONE SIDE ONLY and it is not possible to correct it on site, we must return it to the shop, and the customer will have to accept a charge of $149.
- If the incorrect measurements are more than 3 inches on both sides (length and width, or length and height, or more: length, width and height), we must make a new box, and the customer must pay for the box made with incorrect measurements and the new box with correct measurements.
- Unforeseen additional work: If the need arises for additional work identical to that scheduled for another service, the charge will also be identical to that previously negotiated. This is valid for services scheduled by the hour (for example, carpentry assistance for filling containers). If the hours on the scheduled day were not sufficient for reasons not attributable to our service, and we must return to continue the service on another day with hours similar to those previously scheduled, the charge will be the same as that scheduled for similar hours of service. The minimum charge is $60.
- Return to delivery address: Minimum charge $60 for:
- Going back to open the cash register because the customer forgot something.
- Returning because the client was not available to perform the work (after waiting more than 20 minutes).
- Returning for measurements after attending the first time. Taking measurements once is FREE, but not the second time.
- Checks returned due to insufficient funds: Satara Inc. will charge a $50.00 fee for returned checks.
- Additional features:
- Use of forklifts and/or additional helpers: We can handle packages up to 150 pounds at no additional cost. Higher weights during packing require the assistance of a forklift and/or an additional person. If there is no helper to handle weights over 150 pounds or a forklift available at your warehouse, please let us know in advance. We can bring in an additional helper for $199 and/or a forklift for $450 until your order is complete.

Terms of Service
- 1-Price: You must set or have set the price of the service via email cratingexpress02@gmail.com or cratingexpress01@gmail.com.
- 2- Responsibility: Cratingexpress, hereinafter "The Packer", will carry out the client's order in accordance with the standards and best practices of the wood packaging industry and/or according to the specifications, measures and additional protection elements that the client has contracted or that are specified in the Accepted Quote.
The customer is responsible for the declaration/description of the goods provided for packaging. Our work only consists of encapsulating with wood. - 3-Deadlines:
a. The customer must pay for the order before picking it up.
b. The maximum period within which an order can be completed is 3 business days after notification that it is finished and ready to be collected by the customer. - Rates:
a. Entry and exit $10 for each pallet or box up to 2,500 pounds and with commercial measurements (approximately) of 48×40; 60×44 or less, and no more than 90” high.
b. If the customer does not collect his order within the period stipulated in 3.b, the following charges will apply:- Entry and exit $20 (instead of the $10 mentioned in 4.a).
- Storage of $20 per box per day (around the commercial measures mentioned in 4.a).
- Storage is only for 15 calendar days.
- Abandonment: After 15 calendar days of storage, if the customer does not pick up his merchandise or his merchandise already packed, and without giving instructions about his order or paying for storage, the customer authorizes CE through this document and without any other authorization to declare the merchandise and/or boxes as ABANDONED and have them available without further request from the client.
